The ArithmeQuiz APP offers an infinite number of context free questions based on the structure of the English Key Stage 2 National Curriculum Arithmetic Tests.
The questions are designed to strengthen and deepen pupils’ understanding of the key number and calculation skills and strategies expected of primary children by the end of Key Stage 2.
The understanding of how to accurately, efficiently and flexibly perform mental calculations and written procedures are essential elements of any successful mathematician’s toolkit and key to pupils being successful in mathematics.
The varied question types demand pupils to appreciate the structure of mathematics and notice relationships. Can the calculation be done:
